Michael Hopp - Partner
Michael has 15 years of experience in merchant banking and corporate finance and has successfully closed over a Billion Dollars in mid-market financing. Michael has unique experience tailoring traditional and high leveraged financing solutions for mergers and acquisitions, succession driven transactions and corporate growth strategies. Michael is also a Managing Director of Ashdown Capital.
Steve Wade - Partner
Steve is an expert in mergers and acquisitions and management buy outs. He’s completed over 50 private company acquisitions, raising both commercial debt and equity, with purchase prices ranging from $2MM to $250MM. Steve has over 15 years experience acquiring and managing private companies for high-net-worth families and private equity firms across North America. In addition to his role at Kingfisher Capital, Steve is the Director of Mergers and Acquisition at Ashdown Capital.
Andrew Still - Partner
Andrew is a seasoned commercial finance professional with over a decade of experience advising clients across diverse sectors. Andrew's commitment to client success and strategic business growth has established him as a trusted advisor in the industry. Andrew is also a Managing Director at Ashdown Capital, where he launched the Vancouver Island office and led its growth into a top-performing team of nine.
Brad Kiendl - Partner
Brad is the Founder and Managing Partner of Ashdown Capital. Since establishing Ashdown in 2017, he has successfully built a team of over 30 professionals across five locations in Western Canada, overseeing more than $5 billion in transactions under the Ashdown name.
